As part of the continuous improvement of our practices, it is key to take the time to assess our way of working during or at the end of our projects. The objectives are to build on what has worked well, and to initiate the implementation of more effective process or behaviors.

The Appreciative approach allows to consider in a different way Lesson learned or “problem solving” meetings by mobilizing employees, focusing on their successes, strengths and motivations rather than their difficulties and problems.

• A 5 steps process :

o Define : what is the focus of our inquiry

o Discover : the best of what is and what makes it that way by cross interviews

o Dream : what could be our common vision for the future

o Design: action plan to realize the vision based on best practices

o Deliver : on what will make the plan sustainable

• Detailed diagnostic and improvement opportunities proposal.

• This action is conducted by an internal or external coach specialized in organizations.

Team Development Seminar/Workshop

Objectives of the training

• The Team Development Workshops are team-building, team cohesion and team boosting actions by working on its identity and the different levers such as leadership strengthening, the vision building, the structure, the working principles and processes, the values, the strengths, the roles and responsibilities, the cooperation within and outside the department

• Those workshops are a special time dedicated to the team, meeting the team’s specific requirements and its current challenges.

• A workshop takes the form of a seminar, lasting one day or several.

• Objectives :

o Place a new team (department, project…) on the right tracks , by working on the conditions of success, and linked to the organization strategy.

o Develop team spirit and solidarity, boost initiative and cooperation, enhance the team performance and image.

o Introduce or improve agility after an organization change or after the integration of new team members.
